The Garden Tub

I had a week of tubs for some reason?!? I was meeting with a new friend and getting the grand tour of their home.

On a side note, I do find it quite funny that since I have entered the real estate world people just let me wander their homes. Very cool for me because I love to look at homes, new and old. Odd, because I have never been offered "tours" of homes really before. I am a kitchen person so I often only see different kitchens in the neighborhood as we chat enjoy various wines. I am becoming an expert on different floor plans in the area. It seems as though the master bedroom and the master bathroom absolutely help sell the home. Most people I chat with say they fell in love with their master bath!

I am no different, I have a great master bathroom. I really do wish I had the time to soak in my fantastic tub. I love the natural light and the size of my tub. So, where was I? Oh, this week I searched tubs...

Meritage Homes opened their doors to me this week. I LOVE GREEN homes. The concept is here to stay and the importance of building a better and more efficient home is brilliant for our world and our children. The master bath in the home I toured did not disappoint me as master suites go. Bright, sizable and no doubt more practical than most.

Another tub I was able to see this week was literally GREEN. Plants were happy and growing in the "garden tub". Genius!! I was wandering around in this home and found a great idea for my own master garden tub...

My tub sits empty and quite dusty. Tonight it is going to get chilly and I am going to bring in the Tropical plants and put them in the tub...at least the plants can enjoy the natural light and possibly get watered through the winter. I am so happy with my tub now!!

Please keep showing me your homes and your tubs. I love it!!!
GO JILL GO!!!
